They become a true sanctuary. They are those special places where you feel safe, comfortable, protected, and pleasantly disconnected from the chaos of daily life.
This waterfall set deep in the recesses of this little canyon was right there to enjoy, but also seemingly out of reach - protected from the outside world. It was it’s own sanctuary and in turn offered itself to be mine as well. What a beautiful place.
